Our June talk this year will be presented by entomologist Kim Pullen, an expect on the invertebrates of the Canberra Region and Black Mountain.

Invertebrates are intriguing, and eye catching at times. About 2,150 species of insects, arachnids, millipedes and velvet worms have been recorded on Black Mountain. Scientists studying them estimate that there are more than 5,000 species of invertebrates on the reserve. Kim Pullen will introduce us to the diverse insect life on Black Mountain and its characteristics.

There will be time for questions and a light refreshment.
